teaism-pennquarterinner1img.jpgThe DCLA New Librarians Interest Group is gathering for a casual discussion at the Teaism in Penn Quarter.

The New Librarians Interest Group is an effort to bring together DCLA members early in their careers and encourage them to share their experiences, learn from one another, and work together to put their own spin on the profession of librarianship.

Teaism Penn Quarter is an Asian-inspired tea shop that infuses the cultures of tea and the ideals of Eastern culture with the informality and casualness of America. The restaurant produces simple foods from the cuisines of tea: Bento boxes from Japan, curries from Thailand, and tandoor breads from India.

Teaism Penn Quarter is on the corner of 8th and D Streets NW. Visible from the Archives/Navy Memorial metro stop (yellow/green lines).
