Treasures of the USGS Library

Richard Huffine, current DCLA President, will be presenting a public lecture on the treasures of the USGS Library at the USGS Headquarters in Reston, Virginia.

The USGS Library is proported to be the world's largest Earth Sciences Library with significant collections of books, journals, maps, photographs, etc. The Library in Reston, Virginia contains a number of treasusres including rare books, unique maps and photographs, and a substantial amount of the history of the exploration of the American West.
