The Catholic University of America's School of Library and Information Science is hosting the first Fall colloqium of their academic year on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 6:00 pm.
LIS Clinical Associate Professor, Dave Shumaker will be presenting the first SLIS Colloquium of the Fall term on themes from his new book, The Embedded Librarian. He will focus on the key features that distinguish embedded librarianship from traditional professional practice, the forces driving this new model, and how embedded librarians are increasing their value to their employers and society.
