The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Labor History Research Center is hosting a book talk with Eric Blanc to discuss his most recent book, "We Are the Union: How Worker-to-Worker Organizing is Revitalizing Labor and Winning Big." An assistant professor of labor studies at Rutgers University, Blanc is member of Rutgers AAUP-AFT and a cofounder of the Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee. He is the author of three books on the labor movement. You can find his writings at his Substack, laborpolitics.com.

Join fellow librarians, storytellers, and book lovers on Monday, June 1st at 7PM to discuss Mac Barnett's new book, Make Believe, a collection of essays about storytelling, children's literature, and the magic of kid lit.

We recommend you read the book beforehand--it publishes on May 5th--but it is not required to attend. All are invited for what we hope will be a fruitful discussion about this new work by the National Ambassador to Young People's Literature, Mac Barnett.
