Advocacy Opportunity: Protect E-Rate
The Federal Communication Commission’s Schools and Libraries Universal Service Support Program (E‑Rate) is under attack. E-Rate helps libraries connect communities with internet service. It also advances digital equity, enables lifelong learning, and supports libraries as trusted community anchor institutions. Now the FCC is considering cutting E-Rate. You can add your voice and explain why E-Rate is so important to libraries and communities using ALA's advocacy resources. Write a letter to Congress, submit comments to the FCC, and more! More here.
