Reference Robots & Autonomous Machines
The Emerging Technologies Committee of DCLA has been chosen to present at this year's “Computers in Libraries” conference! “Computers in Libraries” continues a long tradition of looking at emerging technologies, and sharing insights from information industry leaders and watchers. The presentation will focus on robots and artificial intelligence (AI) in libraries.
With the role of the librarian constantly evolving and automation replacing tasks that once defined librarians, will machines replace librarians in the near future? The Emerging Technologies Committee of DCLA has spent the past six months researching this topic and will present their findings.
