NCS: Archivist/Records Manager

    National Cathedral School (NCS) announces the search for a part-time archivist/records manager beginning August 15, 2024, to carry out archival and records management programs of NCS. The mission of these programs is to serve the educational, research, fiscal, legal and service operations of the school. NCS is committed to a culturally diverse faculty and staff and seeks applications for this position from candidates who will contribute to an atmosphere where all are valued and supported. 

    Archivist’s responsibilities include: 

    Qualifications 

    • Bachelor's degree, master’s preferred 
    • Training in standard archival and records-management practices 
    • Technological skills required to maintain and manage records, scan documents and photos, edit photos, access shared files, etc. using standard and in some cases, specialized programs 
    • Ability to interact effectively with office personnel, faculty, students, parents, alumnae, and members of the public 
    • Strong writing and organizational skills 
    • A service-oriented approach to work 
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines 
    • Ability to navigate a multi-building campus and regularly move loads of up to 25 lbs.
