Please join the District of Comlumbia Library Association at the 2010 Annual Banquet to honor the Association's 115th year and celebrate our community.
The event will feature a keynote presentation by President-Elect of the American Library Association and DCLA member, Roberta Stevens. Roberta has had a marvelous career in librarianship and she brings a strength and prespective to the role of ALA President that our profession greatly needs. Roberta will address the DCLA Membership about the challenges she sees ahead of us as well as the great opportunities that come from leading in tough times.
The Women's National Democratic Club is a wonderful venue for this special evening. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Dinner will then be served. During the dessert, DCLA will honor recipients of scholarship loans and awards. Roberta's speech will then follow.
