The event is a conference for scholars, students and filmmakers, a competition for talented deaf and hard of hearing film and video artists, AND a great opportunity for film lovers everywhere to view many outstanding film and video creations by and about the international Deaf Community. Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin [among other notables] are scheduled to attend.

Without a doubt, WDCF is going to be a fantastic experience for everyone who participates in it.
