Author Talk with Jacqueline Woodson
DC Public Library and Politics & Prose host Jacqueline Woodson, the 2018-2019 National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, and the Coretta Scott King Award in 2015 and 2013, will discuss her book Brown Girl Dreaming, a mesmerizing memoir in verse about growing up as an African American girl in the 1960s and 1970s. This event is free and open to the public; however, to attend, an entrance ticket is required. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
