(Mis)Information Lab Seminar

You are invited to DC Public Library's inaugural (Mis)Information Lab Seminaron Tuesday, October 29, from 3-9 pm at DC Public Library's beautiful MLK branch. Sponsored by DCPL and Truth in Common, this free seminar is a chance for library professionals, folks from the community, government agencies and organizations to share their experiences with mis- and disinformation and workshop solutions for mitigating their often harmful effects. You'll hear a keynote speaker from the research community and have access to a fun reception and misinformation trivia contest at the end!

We'd love to see you there and hear more about your perspective and experiences on the topic- it's sure to be enlightening and we hope, the start of more robust conversations about these topics locally. 

This seminar is designed to serve library & information professionals, community members and organizational representatives who care about the spread and influence of mis- and disinformation and are interested in mitigating strategies.
