School Librarian, H. D. Woodson High School, DC Public Schools 

Position Description:

H. D. Woodson High School with DC Public Schools needs an experienced librarian. With an intentional focus on college and career programming, Woodson prepares scholars to be competitive in their post-secondary pursuits while providing a learning environment where scholars feel loved, challenged, and prepared. The heart of the school is the library. With a collection of 9,000 books and related resources, and a dedicated budget of $20 per student, a strategic librarian will have strong support from the school administration to engage students towards innovative learning.

Requirements:

Interested candidates must have relevant experience, a master’s degree from an accredited library science program, and eligible to apply for the DC Office of the State Superintendent License as a School Librarian.
