PARSL (Philadelphia Alliance to Restore Schools Librarians) is working closely with the School District to address the state of school libraries and librarians. PARSL has also submitted an IMLS LB21 planning grant proposal to develop a 5-yr plan to reinstate librarians across its 219 schools. This is challenging work but will be transformative for SDP.
