The Technical Library and the Digitization, Processing, and Records Branch (DPRB) in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission are seeking current students in Library and Information Science programs to apply for a summer internship in the area of Information Management.

Interns assigned to the Technical Library will aid staff librarians with day-to-day tasks and any other projects deemed to further the agency’s mission. Types of work include providing resources and services to NRC scientific and technical staff, assisting members of the public in locating NRC publications, and collection development.

DPRB interns will work with staff to manage the NRC’s Information and Records Management program and to ensure the agency’s information policy, standards, and governance adhere to applicable laws and regulations. Projects will support efforts to manage NRC records and information throughout the records lifecycle.
