Thank you to the DCLA Nominating & Elections Committee. I have a few comments on the voting procedure for this election and I give them realizing how hard you have worked to run a smooth election process. I am not criticizing, just trying to be helpful to DCLA, an organization I revere. I voted, but it was with great patience and perseverance. The movement of the cursor over the text was very awkward. If one took the cursor to the conclusion of the biographical sketches, the blue overlay made it difficult to see the voting boxes. Movement of the bar in the right column was prohibited from going upward to the beginning of the text if one was at the conclusion of the text. I started again a few times and managed to finally cast a vote for each DCLA Board position and click on "Done." At tht point the Survey Monkey was very quick to respond assuring me my voting had been successfully tgransmitted. Some members may give up, though, and not persevere with this awkward process.

Thank you for that feedback, Andrea. As you noted, we use Survey Monkey for ballots. I am not sure how much control we have over the way Survey Monkey functions, but we will keep your comments in mind and perhaps explore other vehicles for administering ballots.
